Since I started making paintings in the early 2000s, I've been
pretty liberal with inspiration. Sometimes making a small change
to an already existing image, or maybe not even a small change,
haha just kidding, it's typically enough to be able to call it my own.
As a person who has always loved Designer Imposters, I'm of
the mind that an homage is a tribute and imitation is also a really
nice way to say, "oooh, I like that!" and also, "oooh, give me that!"

So, for the most part, the paintings in this show are copies
of something, or tributes. Below you'll find 80% of what will
be on display at Workshop 4200. Previews and pre-sales by
appointment, get in touch if you're interested in anything.
D elivery withing the city limits of Chicago is available.
