South Carolina public school teacher Holly Ketcham-Stiles recently taught a lesson to her art classes on Derek Erdman. I have no idea what was said, but I was so flattered that I made a bunch of booklets called GREAT THINGS OF SOUTH CAROLINA to give to the students. The thing is, I included in this booklet a drawing of Andie Macdowell, giving young people the impression that I think that Andie Macdowell is a GREAT THING OF SOUTH CAROLINA. I'd like to use this public forum to come clean and say that perhaps Andie Macdowell is simply an OKAY THING OF SOUTH CAROLINA. Regardless, there are many other great things of South Carolina, such as Holly Ketcham-Stiles, Brian Stiles, Blenheim Ginger Ale & The Angel Oak Tree, where I left my heart in 2007. I want my heart back and I'm going to get it.

I made the booklet GREAT THINGS OF SOUTH CAROLINA on my copy machine, which is on it's last legs, so they look really wonky. Sorry about that.
