This is a Davester with grilled onions. A standard Davester is a hamburger patty with a 1/4 pound slice of salami, a fried egg, a slice of cheese & spicy mustard. I like mine with mayo, which is why I'm so chubby now. This hamburger was named after Dave Piper, who can be seen here. There is a variation called The Erdman, which is a hamburger patty on a plain bun with a melted Hershey's Bar. Nobody has eaten an Erdman yet, but I have a few aunts that deserve such a fate.
