Church's Chicken, 1956 W. 79th Street, was shut down after CDPH health inspectors discovered that the restaurant was operating without a license. Dock's seafood restaurant, 7901 S. Western, was ordered closed after health inspectors discovered a fly infestation and an unsanitary employee washroom. Alicia's Restaurant and Pancake House, 6840 S. Pulaski, lost its business license over a cockroach infestation in the food preparation area and for keeping food at unsafe temperatures. E R & J Food and Liquors, 654 E. 67th Street, was shut down for an infestation of mice and flies, as well as a lack of hot water on premises. Jean's-Lavera's Diner, 11012 S. Michigan, was shut down after CDPH health inspectors discovered standing waste water in the basement, as well as numerous rodent droppings and dead mice on poorly maintained traps.
