AMG Review: "Baby Blue and Herbal Tea are literally back again with their final cassette of smart-alecky hip-hop entitled 'Out Da Jungle'. Taking cues from old school innovators Blakkk Dawg, Better Holmes + Gangstas & 'Lil Ding-Ding, WCS comes full circle with their final release. The early days of "Hangin' With Mr. Cooper in P-Town" are long over, and it's a shame that Blue and Tea called it quits with their finest outing yet. Standout tracks include "Suck Tha D", "Randy In The Woods" & "Recipe For L-O-V-E", but they're all head and shoulders above contemporary hip-hop. The final track entitled 'Anthology' has been sited as THE MOST INFLUENTIAL turntablist cut ever, but I think that's an understatment." -Hal Erickson |
