September 11, 2012 marked the grand opening of DEREK ERDMAN'S INTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF PAINTINGS at 666 S. Jackson in Seattle's International District. We celebrated the opening with a 9/11 themed group art show. It was also Christopher Frizzelle's birthday, his life & birthday party was also be part of this show. Artists included: Austin Hall, Michael Dee, Mike Force, Brittany Kusa, Lelah Maupin, Joel Phelps, Andrew Larson, Tim Cook, Keith Whiteman, Jordan Morris, Joan Hiller, Jason Polan, Dan Paulus, Pilar Duplack, Tara Thomas, Kristin Reger, C.M. Ruiz, Emily Nokes, Rachal Duggan, Derek Erdman, Tyson Pickerel, Eric Olson, Xian Pitt, Aaron Morgan, Theresia Rosa Kleeman, Fang Ela, David Rauschenberg, Derek Sanchez-Hoeksema, Amelia Bonow, Aaron Bagley, Darryl Ary, Eric Olson, and MANY MANY MORE. 9/11 related readings were by Sarah Galvin and Lindy West. Music by DJ Keith Whiteman (Grave Babies) + COOKIE SNAKE DRUM DJ.
