Oh man, Chicago. Things have been pretty good here. Ashley HATES it. The
city infrastructure is a total mess and the weather is either cold or sweltering.
It's a hard drinking place, so relating to people while not hard drinking is a
challenge. There is good and cheap food though, and it's a really nice place
to ride a bike. I kinda want to get a job, but one that will allow me to sit at
a desk and say hello to people. That job doesn't even really exist.

Oh, and I also fucking love Planet Fitness:

Just look at that! Satanic calories! One of my favorite things is to load up on
ibuprophen and run like crazy. Usually HGTV's Flip or Flop is on the overhead
televisions, holy shit that's some serious garbage. Otherwise, here's my gym

Oh, and I did the windows for The Annex in April.
It was an all around delightful experience.

When I moved to Chicago the first time in 1997, I wanted two things:
to work in a record store and to own a table top Galaga videogame.
I worked in a record store for a really long time and one of them had
and standup Asteroids machine, so close enough. When I moved
back last October, I wanted a piano and a cat. As an adult, those
things were relatively easy to acquire. Here's a cat:

He's mostly a lunatic, he MEOWS LIKE CRAZY and licks and
breaks through the screens to get outside whenever he can.
He's absolutely fucking adorable, we love him so much. His
name is Archie.

Ashley took this photo on the roof of our garage. She's been
fucking killing it lately, so that's great. We might not LOVE
Chicago, but work is going vaguely well for us both.

Here's the Barksdale in Memphis, TN. It was called
Bob's Barksdale before, but Bob died, what a fucking
bummer. This is a recent photo taken in April 2018.

Here's a holy trinity of awful known as Bhad Bhabie, Lil Tay
and Woah Vicky. It's pretty great that bad stuff like this exists,
sometimes when I get depressed I just want to watch THE
WORST stuff possible. Like Logan and Jake Paul's father's
Instagram videos. They're really wretched and also from Ohio.
